This policy explains how Everglow Studio uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It works alongside our Privacy Policy and reflects our obligations under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We also use local storage — a related browser technology — to remember your cookie choice. Some cookies are set by us; others are set by third-party tools (such as embedded videos or chat) when those features load.

How we use them

We keep cookies to a minimum. They fall into two groups:

Essential — needed for the site to work and stay secure. These load automatically and cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
Optional (third-party) — only set if you choose Accept all on our cookie notice, or if you actively use a feature such as playing a portfolio video or booking a call. Decline, and these features still work but open in a new tab or stay closed, so they don't drop cookies here.

We do not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your consent

On your first visit we show a cookie notice. Choosing Accept all allows optional cookies; Decline non-essential keeps only the essential ones. We remember your choice for 365 days, after which the notice reappears so you can decide again.

Managing and deleting cookies

You can clear or block cookies anytime in your browser settings — see your browser's help pages for instructions. To see the cookie notice again on this site, clear your browser storage for this domain (which removes the eg_cookie_consent entry) and reload the page.

Your rights

Under BC PIPA and PIPEDA you can ask what personal information we hold, request corrections or deletion, and withdraw consent. Email [email protected]. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
